Business process improvement (BPI) involves a deep dive into current business processes, with the purpose of optimizing efficiency across your entire organization, where possible. We utilize our “6 steps to success” to fine-tune your workflow, improve customer experiences, remove redundancy, improve product quality, reduce costs, and create more engaged employees.
BPI allows you and your staff more time to focus on the things that matter, like taking care of clients, generating revenue, and increasing profits. It’s possible to do some BPI in-house but it’s often like staring at a piece of artwork too close. In addition, there’s typically not much employee incentive to take a chance and share innovative ideas that could potentially make things better.
Here is an example that many people can relate to: You’re told that you were hired to bring in an outside perspective, yet when you make a suggestion to a superior, you are either blown off or simply told, “This is the way we’ve always done things and it’s worked so far.” This doesn’t exactly lead to that employee bringing any more of that, “Outside perspective” they were told the company needed while being hired. There is also the zebra theory which is explained in our “About” page. Basically, it’s safer to keep your head down, blend in with the crowd, and don’t take any chances.
When the services of The Strategic Perspective are attained, BPI is at the core of everything we do. That is why it’s a part of our basic consulting package.
